European Medicines Agency (EMA) is organising its second Awareness Session, due to the high level of interest and participation in the first one held last September.
The session will be held at the EMA in London, on Thursday 8 & Friday 9 March 2018.
We would like to extend our invitation to Academics from within EU and outside EU, and once more to non-EU Medicines Regulators and Non-Governmental Organisations.Academia participants may have a higher interest in the first-day topics (8 March 2018), but participation in the 2 days is strongly encouraged. The session will also be broadcast and selected information published on the EMA website after the event. The awareness session will give an insight into the EU regulatory system and the role of EMA, and into scientific aspects of the Agency’s work and its interactions with scientific experts. It will address topics such as the role of experts, benefit-risk evaluation, among others. It will also provide the participants with networking opportunities with academics, NGOs staff and regulators from and outside the EU.

Please visit the link for further information and to vision the draft programme.
Places are limited so early expression of interest is recommended and should be sent by 16 February 2018 to EMA at the following email address: EMAinternational@ema.europa.eu
Please note that there is no registration fee but the EMA will not fund participation, nor reimburse travel, visas, or accommodation.
